National Project Officer | Red Cross Youth  

To support the management and implementation of the HIV and Substance Abuse Prevention Program in collaboration with the Health Services

• Assess and evaluate Red Cross Youth implementation of HIV and Substance Abuse prevention programs in collaboration with the National Project Coordinator.

• Devise and recommend innovative approach to building young people’s learning competencies towards the prevention of HIV infection and substance abuse.

• In collaboration with program staff from and national and field levels, develop key indicators for HIV prevention implementation.

• Conduct field visits in program implementation areas.

• Develop at least one case study highlighting the youth’s role in HIV prevention through peer education.

• Record, sort, and classifie financial transactions on prescribed book of accounts i.e. both original and final entry books, journals and ledgers.

• Maintain consultations and feedback gathering from key departments, primarily the Health Services Department being the lead in the project and offices relevant to the implementation of the HIV prevention program.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related courses.
• Program/project development and management experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in training or facilitation.
• Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer preferred.
• Experience working with local or international non-government organizations is an advantage.
