Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Carries out proper storage and issuance of blood.
- Performs the functions of phlebotomist or receptionist whenever necessary.
- Evaluates quality control of reagents.
- Keeps accurate records of blood results as well as incoming and outgoing blood units.
- Helps in the maintenance of sanitation and upkeeping of the BCU equipment and facilities.
- Ensure proper disinfection and disposal of laboratory wastes.
- Supervises trainees and volunteers.
- Ensures proper endorsement of blood samples to the NBC for laboratory testing.
- Disposes of all unsuitable blood and component in accordance with waste management protocol.
- Consolidates monthly reports for submission to NBS and DOH for the preparation of the annual report.
- Take responsibility for program planning and implementation.
- Assesses needs and problems of the communities.
- Makes plan of action to be submitted to immediate Supervisor.
- Implements approved programs.
- Organizes, prepares, and conducts training and dissemination information on Red Cross services.
- Monitors and evaluates program implemented within the chapter to ensure successful delivery of the services in target communities.
- Consults with the Chapter Management and coordinates with the Chapter staff and volunteers to ensure an organized and collaborated delivery programs along with the other services.
- Consults with the office at National Headquarters.
- To keep abreast of developments.
- To keep chapter service activities in line with their plans and activities with the prior approval of Chapter Manager.
- Prepares monthly and annual comprehensive accomplishment report for submission to the Chapter Administrator and National Headquarters.
- Seeks for the improvements of service deliveries through sound recommendations, suggestions, proposals, and innovations.
- Assists in fostering healthy relationships with the Chapter and other organizations.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology.
- Registered Medical Technologist.
- Preferably with at least 2 years of practical experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
