Buyer  

Based in Manila and reporting directly to the Merchandising Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for selecting the vintage pieces that will comprise the company’s inventory for sale and knowing which prices and conditions to purchase the pieces at. We’re looking for someone passionate about fashion, vintage luxury and e-commerce, who would love to be part of a young and hungry multicultural start-up team!

The new buyer will be assigned to work specifically on Virtual Consignment stock (and Farfetch Buyback Program when launched). He/She will be the process owner end-to-end from stock selection, pricing, product templates, virtual QC and order processing which will require coordination with CS, BD, Ops and supplier contact.

Responsibilities:

• Buying inventory and pricing
• Collaborating with Business Development for expansion of merchandise
• Monitoring products and prices in the vintage luxury market
• Analyzing past sales patterns to anticipate trends in consumer buying pattern
• Assisting with the ideation of thematic campaigns and allocation of merchandise

• University Degree in related field (Business/Fashion/Marketing/Merchandising)
• Basic knowledge of buying and merchandising, as well as pricing and margins
• Passionate about fashion and has in depth and intimate knowledge of luxury designer brands and products
• Must have exceptionally strong analytical skills and comfortable with using Microsoft Excel
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Requires minimal supervision and ensures timely completion of deliverables
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in English is a must, knowing Japanese would be an advantage but not required
• Fast learner and good team player.
