Head of Finance | E-commerce  

Healthy Financial Performance

• Control revenue bleeding thru pricing guidelines and revenue leakage controls
• Manage FTE thru process optimizations and improvements
• Liaise with different service providers to deliver savings in forex spread, transaction costs, and float
• Maintain a healthy level of working capital, and generate more free cash flow for merchandise procurement
• Oversee contract commercials to minimize exposure of the organization to penalties and undue costs

Working Capital Optimization

• Reduce receivable turnover period thru quick response to problematic accounts, optimization of current collection protocols, and maintenance of good client relationship
• Maintain low level of inventory turnover period thru consistent support/monitoring of lent goods sales contribution, and review of all new lent goods supplier
• Increase payable deferral period thru oversight and finance/compliance support on contracts with Buyback partners

Compliance

• Attend to all global compliance requirements of the organization
• Liaise with the service providers in Hong Kong, Japan, and EU countries to ensure compliance on jurisdictions of operations

Maintain High Performing Direct Reports

• Ensure high level performance of the team, specially direct reports, which are the Finance Supervisor, and Controller

Maintain Team Morale and Buy-in to Vision-Mission

• Ensure alignment of vision-mission of the Group and the department to the team, ensuring harmony and better morale

• Possesses a degree in Accountancy, Financial Management or similar undergraduate studies
• At least 5 years of combined working experience in finance operations, controllership accounting, and compliance, and/or assurance/audit
• At least 2-year experience in handling and coaching direct reports
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA) a plus, but not required
• Should have relevant experience in projects which assess the commercial viability of campaigns, or new products
• Experience handling BI tool or data mining techniques Is an advantage
• Should have a solid understanding of tax principles and VAT compliance rules (e.g. input-output mechanism)
• Should have relevant experience in collections and problematic accounts management
• Able to effectively communicate in English
