BD Officer  

The Junior Research Officer or BD Officer is responsible for addressing queries of new business models and also in working on business development. Works with and under the supervision of Head of Business Development.

Identify partners

• Review alternative products. Understand the business rationale, underlying economics, and sales approach for the product
• Select a long-list of partners suitable for partnership for each product. Understand the priorities of these partners and so create a sales plan for the partner
• Present the company's approach to the partners and identify ways to implement
• Design products/services based on the needs of the client
• Determine commercial arrangements with partners

Conduct research and feasibility studies

• Understand the product requirements of different business models
• Research on new products and services offerings, new business models, and new partnerships/ventures.

• Has at least 1-year experience in sales and fintech industry (neo-bank preferred)
• Ability to create contacts across potential partners
• Solution selling: Understanding the issues facing a client, designing solutions, relationship management to ensure the company is ‘part of the same team’
• Content expertise in banking, especially in lending, deposit accounts, business analysis, etc.
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
