Financial Analyst  

You will be working for Upteam, a vintage bag, apparel and accessory curator currently supplying authentic pre-owned items from high-end brands, to both online and offline shops across Europe, the Middle-East and Asia. We carry merchandise from the world's most exclusive and luxurious brands, giving our customers access to timeless pieces at exceptional value.

Responsibilities

Provide financial planning and analysis support for all departments across the Company.

• Work closely with other departments in monitoring and updating their budget and actual expenses
• Liaise with BD in establishing reasonable sales target based on purchase budget and sell-thru trend
• Deliver monthly actual vs budget report, with insights on avoidable costs, one-time cost, and subsequent action plan
• Deliver cost savings amounting to at least US$10,000 in 2019
• Work closely with different departments to determine inefficiencies in the process
• Recommend solutions on forex risk, operational risk, and credit risk of the company
• Maintain financial model of the Company
• Update assumptions of financial model to attain at least 90% accuracy

• Possesses a degree in Accountancy, Financial Management or other related qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a financial modeling and forecasting role in a corporate setting/professional services company
• Knowledgeable in using Bloomberg terminal or other platforms to determine/benchmark the beta and weighted average cost of capital
• Should have relevant experience in assessing commercial viability or financial feasibility of sales initiatives and other projects
• Experience handling BI tool or data mining techniques Is an advantage
• Able to effectively communicate in English
