Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide quality, compliant and timely Paraplanning services to our advice network where you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Statements of Advice using Xplan financial planning software.
Use your accounting or finance degree to specialise in advice development to build your financial planning and wealth management experience.
Main focus areas
- Prepare high quality and compliant Statements of Advice and other advice documents on behalf of planners
- Meet and exceed individual productivity targets
- Ensure that Paraplanning service standards are met
- Ensure that Paraplanning services are in accordance with licensee standards
- Ensure high level financial planning software skills are developed and maintained
- Build and reinforce a constructive and high performing culture (individually and collectively as a team member)
- Maintain minimum education requirements
Role specific development
- To prepare basic and comprehensive Statements of Advice and other advice documents dealing with various mainstream strategies in particular Transition to Retirement, Income Streams, Wealth Creation and SMSF
- Develop a good working knowledge of various tax structures (highly regarded)
- Gain proficiencies in using Xplan financial planning software
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Accounting or Finance degree (mandatory)
- Previous experience working in a Financial Services environment (desired)
- Diploma of Financial Services (DFS) – (desired)
- Completion of ADFS or demonstrated success in continuing ADFS studies (desired)
- Advanced understanding of Word and Excel software
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team environment, whilst also having individual targets to meet
- Ability to interact (both verbally and written form) effectively with planners
