Operations Manager  

Job Description

In Ninja Van, claims can arise due to various events such as late delivery and damaged goods. An Operations Manager will manage a high-level team in charge of minimizing claims by using data to identify the areas resulting in claims, understanding the root causes, and finding creative ways and initiatives to eliminate them. This position is expected to align project priorities with management, align and coordinate with other departments in the planning and execution of the initiatives. Operations Manager will also be expected to ensure to provide regular updates to the management on the progress of the projects.

Main Duties:

• Understand the end-to-end operation processes in the company.
• Analyze and be accountable for the claims trend.
• Own the project portfolio managed by the claims investigation team.
• Clear roadblocks of project planning and execution.
• Understand the root causes of claims and align understanding with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and guide the team in the planning and execution of the projects.
• Prepare latest information regarding project portfolios.
• Provide weekly portfolio progresses and financial impact reports.

Qualifications:

• College graduate of the quantitative course. If not, strong relevant experience in operations, business and data are required.
• Proficiency (or ability to learn) SQL/Python/R an advantage.
• High proficiency with Spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets).
• PMP Certification a strong advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in leading a team and managing project portfolios.
• High analytical ability - critical and logical thinking and optimization.
• Ability to create value in an unstructured environment.
