Technical Representative  

Attends to technical inquiries and execute product problem management practices within Caterpillar and Allied products, with the objective of providing high quality information and guidance on technical issues to all stakeholders for the fulfillment of the company’s service obligations to its clients and customers to ensure the products we represent provide best value. Works closely and regularly with Sales team to communicate field reported technical and product issues to ensure prioritization of their workload products sold to end users are well supported.

Job Summary:

• Nurtures healthy business relationships and regularly communicates with customers in order to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
• Ensure product incidents and failures are captured and clearly reported and entered in PSCRM or to relevant Cat or Allied product health representative in a timely manner in order to ensure continuous improvement of products supported.
• Attend to technical inquiries of internal customers, technicians to provide required information that is not readily available in the resources provided by principal.
• Coordinates with Service, and Sales BUs through monthly Product Problem Monitoring meetings and publications cascades in order to document current product quality and provide updates on improvements, publications and corrective measures.

• Graduate of any Engineering course.
• With five to six (5-6) years’ work related experience in Heavy Equipment/Gen Set services or any related industry.
• Work is generally performed within an office environment with regular local and international travels for official business. Customer visits may be required for unit/parts inspection under Warranty and/or unusual failure.
• Strong analytical & planning skills, good communication & presentation skills and excellent problem-solving skills.
