Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Receivables

  • Prepare invoice with tax (VAT and EWT) based on contract terms
  • Record invoice issued and collection received
  • Prepare CM/DM for sales adjustments
  • Handle entry for the sales invoice issued
  • Handle entry for any writeoff of receivables
  • Prepare weekly ageing report with analysis
  • Have a constant communication with Sales Department for the uncollected aged receivables
  • Prepare collection notice
  • Maintain and update customer master data file
  • Perform other duties that management may assign from time to time.
  • Recommend improvements and/or changes in the accounting policies, if necessary.

Payables

  • Check all invoices for processing, entries, support and subject to tax
  • Ensure request is approved by the authorized approvers
  • Audit the ageing report prepared
  • Ensure request is within and beyond the budget
  • Verify supplier data master file
  • Ensure all hard copy requests are safe kept
  • Recommend improvements and/or changes in the accounting policies, if necessary.

General Ledger

  • Maintain the company books of accounts: General Ledger, Sales Books, Cash Receipts Book, Cash Disbursement Book, Purchase Book and General Journal.
  • Ensure that monthly bank reconciliation is done, check monthly bank reconciliation statement and approve the corresponding journal entry for necessary adjusting entries.
  • Handle all the period-end closing adjustments
  • Recommend improvements and/or changes in the accounting policies, if necessary.

Treasury

  • Check the weekly cash balance report

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare journal vouchers for transactions not within the function of different accounting unit staff but requires recording in the company books of accounts.
  • Make sure all transactions are approved by authorized aprovers
  • Ensure period-end adjustments are recorded ( project and non-project)
  • Ensure intercompany transactions tie up with the counter party
  • Prepare Country Report and BOD Presentation Deck with analysis
  • Work out annual budget and 5-Year Financial Plan with analysis
  • Develop 6 Months Rolling Cash Flows
  • Perform other duties that management may assign from time to time.
  • Put together weekly revenue recognition report.

Tax Accounting

  • Manage the tax accounting and compliance process, e.g. Value-added tax, Withholding tax, Fringe benefit tax, Income Tax, Deferred tax asset, liabilities and others.

Fixed Assets

  • Check lapsing schedules necessary.

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • Education
    • College graduate preferably in Business Management, Engineering and/or Accounting courses.
  • Experience
    • At least five (5) years experience in Finance, Accounting, Corporate Planning, and/or Audit in major Philippine and/or multinational corporations.
  • Human Relations
    • Must be able to communicate well, oral and in writing, with all levels in the organization
    • Must have good written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to coordinate, manage, and direct others
  • Mental Effort
    • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
    • Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and can deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Ability to compute discount, cost of money, profit and loss; ratio and proportion percentage. Able to perform simple algebra.
    • Ability to spot computational errors in all stages of planning and financials.
    • Ability to handle pressure during management presentations and reporting periods.
  • Physical Effort
    • Be able to perform well even under pressure or opposition
