Deskripsi Pekerjaan

  • Organizes the directive to be given the direct reports by reviewing plans set by the immediate superior and implement the same in accordance to the company rules and regulations to effectively lead the team in the conduct of undertakings.
  • Cascades directives by coordinating with the specific project site team professionals under his geographic area of operation to observe proper procedural channeling thereof.
  • Detects if any other project sites within his area would be affected or of be of benefit in the conduct of any activity in his area by studying the directives of his immediate superior, resource site documents, etc., to effectively manage resources within his area of operation.
  • Initiates a schedule of information, in conjunction with the immediate superior, by agreeing on directions of build identify critical path issues, etc., to facilitate deliberations on the feasibility of the project.
  • Plans the project, in collaboration with top management, immediate superior, and line subordinate by creating a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project to define the scope of the project.
  • Assists in recruitment of site mangers and weekly staff by working with the appropriate department in setting competence requirements to ensure the right caliber of staff are recruited.
  • Confirms that all personnel are given proper orientation and on-boarding by making sure that the induction plans are reviewed and completed within laid down timescales to ensure that the area team runs in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
  • Manages performance of staff by leading, motivating, communicating, developing and appraising to ensure they are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company’s needs.
  • Ensures that poor performance is not tolerated and is remedied via support, training or disciplinary action as appropriate, liaising with the immediate superior and Human Resources, to manage all employment issues.
  • Aids in appointing a suitable subcontractor and suppliers by liaising with the appropriate department to ensure adequate resources and expertise to achieve required quality within agreed timescales.
  • Aids the appropriate department in understanding completion targets in the area in order to ensure the Construction Schedule optimizes revenue generation for each development.
  • Prepares a layout of the new development by drafting traffic management plans, security and protection of the public to ensure safe working environment for employed, sub contractors and members of the public.
  • Oversees implementation of the company’s and municipal waste management policy across all developments with the designated area of operation by cascading information and conducting site inspections to facilitate compliance.
  • Monitors level of work progress and materials on sites by working closely with the project teams in identifying issues affecting delivery, staff awareness on site duration, and resolve to meet required timescales.
  • Oversees quality control procedures by monitoring, inspecting developments and receiving reports regularly to ensure adherence to the highest standards and reflects in good audit reports.
  • Reviews services to clients, in liaison with the immediate superior, by making self fully aware with each month’s client inputs and discuss with the relevant site teams picking up on any trends, both positive and negative to deliver highest standard of client satisfaction.
  • Safe keeps documents and records by uploading it in the computer system to ensure that all project information are appropriately documented and secured.
  • Keeps oneself informed by attending various meetings and receiving reports to cascade pertinent information vertically and across the line of responsibilities.
  • Prepares various reports and supporting documentation using the current project management system (PMS) software to facilitate information process.
  • Updates oneself with trends and technology of the chosen field by researching, enrollment to institutions for continuous education to enrich oneself and remain as an invaluable asset of the company.
  • Performs other functions which maybe required by the immediate superior from time to time.

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Civil Engineering
  • A PRC Licensed Engineer/Architect
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of construction
  • With at least five years work experience in Project Management
