- Validates received instructions from immediate superior by deliberating specifics and clarifying understanding to effectively manage a centralized procurement operations.
- Develops procurement policies and procedures by reviewing current procedures and determine improvements pursuant to inherent company policies to provide practical and result oriented procedures.
- Creates a work environment conducive to achievement of excellence by implementing trainings of staff and supporting aligned trainings of other departments to facilitate achievement of the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
- Develops a directory of high performing and market-leading vendors by reviewing any partnering agreements entered into by the company and scouting potential vendors to reward them with long time partnership with the company.
- Promotes the use of more efficient and economic construction processes and products by learning the latest construction market trends to facilitate cost effectiveness.
- Creates and manages materials price directory by learning market prices of commonly ordered and special materials to facilitate pricing index.
- Approves quotations and canvass by receiving documentations, evaluates and process information, and assures items matches the specifications as requested to facilitate supplier awarding.
- Negotiates for discounts, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, etc., by working out means where the company can leverage at to settle on terms that is advantageous ad beneficial for the company.
- Assures timely processing of transactions by monitoring progress reports from all team members and affiliated departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services to requesting party.
- Manages vendor performance related concerns by evaluating reports on adherence to agreements, quality of received materials, returns or replacements rate of recurrence, etc., to facilitate resolution or replacement of vendor as necessary.
- Coordinates various information by attending meetings, circulating relevant documents, etc., to facilitate synergy within the organization.
- Keeps immediate superior and management informed by preparing reports to facilitate update and decision making.
- Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Graduate of any four-year business related course.
- At least five years of relevant work experience.
