General Bookkeeper  

Be part of our expanding Finance and Accounting team that maintains the financial and accounting system for the operations team of the popular, internationally-known Filipino brand in mixes, sauces, and more-- Mama Sita's

The General Bookkeeper maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensuring legal requirements compliance.

Your scope of responsibility shall include:

• Ensures that all business transactions have been properly accounted for and reflect the company's accounting process, completeness and accuracy of trial balance and the consolidated trial balance.
• Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions: creating financial transactions includes posting to journals and all books of accounts from source documents such as check vouchers, cash receipts, A/P books, sales books, and general ledger.
• Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
• Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Maintains historical records by filing documents.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy,
• Preferably with a year of experience
• Must have maintained a good academic record
• Knowledgeable in General Accounting and Bookkeeping
• Proficient with MS Office
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
