Finance & Operations Officer  

Responsibilities

• Own financial planning/operating plan (annual), forecasting (quarterly), and variance analysis (monthly) as part of the Company’s month-end cycles partnering with the accounting team and business units.
• Provide strategic insight and recommendations to the business on its financial performance, focusing on KPIs, trends, and analytics to help meet the company’s long-term growth plans
• Optimize existing monthly, quarterly, & annual processes and variance reporting
• Head ad-hoc projects to support key business decisions, including assisting in fundraising efforts, other investor requests, and key vendor negotiations
• Draw important insights from analysis, communicate the “story behind the numbers” cross-functionally, and work with colleagues to react to findings

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Marketing Communications
• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, finance, and account management
• Business development/sales/retail experience a plus
• Highly organized: able to lead and manage multiple projects and teams from end to end with ease
• Strong attention to details & results-oriented: You get stuff done, well.
• Start-up mentality. You’re scrappy, you’re willing to get your hands dirty, you’re adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Knowledgeable in Excel, Keynote, PPT, Photoshop
