I. Museum Management

1. Provide senior day-to-day management/oversight of the museum, its infrastructure, staff and resources.
2. Plan, coordinate, and direct the operation of the ILOMOCA which includes carrying out policies and programs as determined by the Museum Board of Trustees.
3. Oversees museum operations including the collection, exhibits, maintenance and educational outreach, consults and advises on objects of art brought to the museum for analysis; and researches possible museum purchases
4. Demonstrate effective staff development and organizational skills in areas such as hiring, coaching, collaboration, problem solving, and goal setting.
5. Attend Board meetings as Manager of the Museum.
6. Oversee the financial budget including planning, preparing, monitoring and administering; recommends opportunities to grow and develop new revenue streams for the museum.
7. Prepare annual report and other special reports as prescribed by the Board.

II. Collection Management

1. Conservation, preservation, and documentation of the collection of the museum
2. Assemble the museum catalogue

III. Educational Programs

1. Plan tours and educational programs for museum visitors
2. Develop short and long-term program for the art museum across multitude of activities including but not limited to curating or collaborating with partners, driving, and supporting art education for the community as well as artists’ development programs and engaging the museum board of trustees in these program of activities
3. Assistance in production of educational materials or write ups for the museum
4. Assistance in planning and development of tour packages and promotions that will contribute to the museum’s development of content
5. Liasing with schools, colleges and teachers to promote the use of collections and activities of the museum in line with the national curriculum
6. Collaborates with community partners to enhance the art programs; develops relationships with community organizations and staff to communicate the museum’s vision.
7. Liasing with management boards, governors, trustees, local council, and political groups to secure the future of the museum.
8. Cultivate relationships with major stakeholders for the purposes of fundraising, including major gifts, special projects, operations, and development of the museum collection.

IV. Museum Exhibitions

1. Manage the exhibition programs and implements concept and design with guidance of the management, consultants, and research output
2. Coordinates the construction, fabrication, architecture, design and media companies and suppliers for exhibits
3. Direct art exhibitions, including promotion and marketing to bring visitors to the museum and foster museum growth.
4. Understand the role of technology in information exchange and works to ensure that the Museum employs current and innovative methods needed to reach multiple demographic groups.
