Data Analyst  

Do you love data? Are you motivated by solving an “unsolvable problem?” Are you interested in modeling, forecasting, dashboarding and strategic analysis? If so, Small Builders is on the hunt for a talented data analyst to join our Data Analytics team.

You will be responsible for asking questions and driving insight across the entire organization from customer and driver acquisition to launch optimization. If you have a passion for problem-solving and driving strategic projects from inception to implementation, then this position is right for you.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Growth team by analyzing our business data as we grow our product and platform.
• Perform quantitative analysis of growth experiments and make recommendations for future initiatives.
• Manage weekly and monthly business reports that assess the health of Small Builders.
• As part of the growth team, help plan new channels for user acquisition through paid and organic means.
• Crunch marketing data and provide actionable insights.
• Build user cohorts.
• Perform funnel and goal construction.

• Background in statistics, machine learning, data mining, or its equivalent education in a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledgeable of designing and implementing tests.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Able to work through complex problems systematically.
• Skill in communicating data to a regular audience.
• Able to aggregate and dissect large amounts of data.
• Eagerness to learn a number of analytics platforms.

Nice to have:

• Previous start-up experience.
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Adwords and Analytics.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Data visualization.
