Accounts Payable Associate  

The main purpose of this position is to process payable vouchers with approvals and supporting documents in accordance to company policies and to apply the appropriate taxes on a per transaction basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare payable vouchers to vendors within the service level agreement
• Ensure compliance to the 3-way matching of documents (invoice, purchase order and delivery/receiving/acceptance report)
• Ensure each request for payment is duly approved and are aligned with contract
• Apply the proper withholding taxes and VAT for each disbursement for processing
• Accurately record disbursement transactions to the proper accounts, project and department
• Assist in the monthly closing of the books for payables related transactions
• Check employee reimbursements, cash advances and liquidation against company policy
• Organize and neatly file payable vouchers, contracts and supporting documents
• Prepare and issue Certificates of Tax Withheld (Form 2307)
• Prepare reconciliation for assigned accounts and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
• Complete schedules required for internal and external audit purposes
• Observe and comply with existing company policies, agreements, rules, and regulations
• Elevate to management any noted deviations from sound internal control
• Provide other accounting and administrative support and assistance as necessary
• Perform additional duties as directed by immediate manager or Group Head

• A graduate of a BS Commerce major in Accounting or BS Accountancy
• at least 2 years combined work experience in payables processing and financial accounting
• Working knowledge in financial accounting software is a plus but not mandatory
• Real estate industry experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
