Events Manager  

Mission: The Events Manager is responsible for executing, overseeing, managing events and ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to. This role will ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. An events manager is a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Plans event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
• Comes-up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
• Oversees the overall profitability of the event through booth sponsorships or ticket sales.
• Prepares budgets, and ensures adherence.
• Sources, negotiates, coordinates with vendors and suppliers.
• Books venues, and negotiates fees.
• Prepares invitations and sends out at appropriate time.
• Drives attendance to the event.
• Promotes the event using flyers, cold calling, and social media as examples of ways to spark attention.
• Analyzes event performance and prepares metrics presentation.
• Defines company brand through events.
• Ensures staff is adequately prepared for event.
• Pays vendors for their participation in the event.
• Ensures day of event goes smoothly.
• Oversees and manage all suppliers from planning to execution to reconcilitation.
• Formulates the entire event process and share to the teams.
• Prepares the post event reports.
