Senior Software Engineer | SQL | Python  

About the Challenge

You will contribute to a stable and increasingly sophisticated Business Intelligence Stack. This includes ETL jobs from sources like Facebook and Google Analytics and a Postgres data warehouse that analysts access for data globally.

You will communicate with Marketing, Product and Business Analysis teams and assist them in making sense of all the data Lamudi creates.

You will analyse and build applications for using this data (e.g Message potential leads with recommendations based on their usage history)

You will have support available from experienced BI team members

Manage the servers where we are running the data warehouse and the data platforms where we make data available to Analysts (Google Data Studio)

• You will either be someone comfortable with 3+ years Data Engineering experience or someone with solid experience of Data Analysis for 3+ Years using Python and/or SQL who wants to push their skills further and understand more of how data is moved and organised.
• You have a solid experience in python.
• You have solid SQL skills.
• You have some experience with databases and data modelling.

Nice to Haves/Stuff You will Learn about

• Linux Experience + Server administration
• AWS (EC2 Servers, Kinesis Data Streaming, Amazon S3)
• Data warehouse administration on Postgresql
• Google Cloud Platform.
• Python Django.
• Familiarity with REST Apis
