Import and Export Supervisor (Cebu Based)  

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Develops the over-all operational strategy and direction for the sea freight export team.
• Manages subcontractor or third party service provider for sea freight and air freight operations
• Analyzes opportunities and establish new approach and ideas in terms of operations beneficial for the team.
• Train and coaches staff regularly to adhere teamwork within the department.
• Responsible on all RFQ or RFI Process
• Hold monthly departmental meeting.
• Observe and follow all company policies and QSHE requirements at all times.
• Responsible on the monthly FSL checking & closing.
• Ensure that deferral and accrual are within the parameters.
• Responsible on all invoicing activities related to sea freight and airfreight jobs.
• Ensure that invoices are being dispatch on timely manner.
• Monitor all third party invoices & SOA’s and ensure that all charges are within the agreed standard.
• Ensure that all client requirements and KPI are properly met.
• Visiting clients when the need arises
• Monitor claims and ensure regular followed-up until it has been close.
• Dealing with potential new clients.
• Responsible on all Data Quality requirements as per sea freight and aifreight system guidelines.
• Support operational efficiencies and enforce better use of our external and internal system.
• Any other tasks assigned by his/her immediate superior

Your skills and experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in air and sea operation
• At least 3 year(s) of solid working experience with a multinational freight forwarding
• Applicants must be coming from Cebu.
• Preferably Supervisor / 3 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Proficient knowledge in MS Office Application
