UI / UX Designer  

We are looking for a creative UI and UX Designer to join our team of developers!

This role has no shortage of challenges to tackle at Kayel. We are unifying all our designs for our products - on web, iOS and Android - so we need to find a teammate who can help us come up with actual designs based on our design philosophy.

You will be working as part of our product team and will help prototype, ship, and iterate the designs for our products. Since we’re expanding our product lines, this also means we need you to be knowledgeable in designing for web, iOS and Android. You will also be expected to mark up web designs and slice assets for the developers.

What you’ll be doing

In this exciting role, you'll get to work in a feedback-focused environment which promotes continual learning and collaboration. You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience / exposure to working closely with our developers and stakeholders on products that change people’s lives.

As part of the UI/UX team, you will explore complex user problems and balance them with business needs to create intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use products. You will be hands-on wireframing, analysing, exploring ideas, prototyping, designing and testing to achieve the best outcome.

We need a great designer and great things doesn't come cheap.

• Must have a portfolio of impressive web/mobile app design;
• Strong knowledge in layouts, graphic fundamentals, brand development, typography, limitations of the web, and industry best practices
• Excellent visual design skills with thorough understanding of User Experience;
• Extensive experience in creating wireframes and site maps;
• You are very comfortable with prototyping and getting user feedback and designing around it;
• Good communicator;
• Very detailed;
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
