- Work for a major tech news media outlet.
- Profile the hottest startups and tech companies in the Philippines.
- Cover trending topics and hot button issues.
- Break news stories.
- Meet publishing deadlines.
- Attend relevant tech news events.
- Interview personalities in the Philippine tech scene by phone, via email, in person, etc. Know the difference between these scenarios, and when, say, a phone call is warranted, when a Skype/FB chat would suffice, and when an in-person interview with a videographer would be appropriate.
- Attend staff meetings at our offices in Makati City.
Kualifikasi Minimum

- Obviously, you can’t be a Luddite. Aversions to tech wouldn’t make sense for this role.
- Have your own computer. You’ll be issued certain credentials, but there’ll be times when it’d just make sense to write/report from your personal equipment. Entry-level associates aren’t issued very much hardware at the outset.
- Be a good, confident, distinct writer. Have a literary voice.
- Be familiar with office productivity suites, such as G Suites / Google Apps; Microsoft Office 365; etc.
- Be familiar with CMS platforms such as Squarespace; WordPress; WiX; etc.
