Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- You will either be assigned to an intake team or a clinical offices team
- Intake team duties include but are not limited to processing and registering new patients; verifying eligibility and benefits for health insurance plans for patients; assisting patience and guardians of patience with forms and surveys
- Clinical offices team duties include taking family history interviews; assisting physicians and clinicians with psychosocial interviews; recording and verifying vitals such as weight, height, blood pressure— as well as explaining to patients and guardians the significance of the calculation of BMI scores—; updating electronic health records, and others
Kualifikasi Minimum
- The applicant must be able to report to our offices in Daly City CA— this is not a work-from-home opportunity
- We are looking for qualified team members to join our medical assistant team
- Please note that a medical assistant certificate is not required
- We will entertain those that have partially completed medical assistant vocational programs
- Hard requirement: Spanish fluency as you will be assigned to our Spanish-only patient population
