Asset Servicing Specialist  

Mainly responsible for corporate actions, reference data management, proxy voting, valuation, and 144A support.

• Daily morning checks (pending to GV, dupes, etc.)
• Equity breaks
• Futures breaks
• New/Updated bonds
• Pay date changes on dividends

Specific Duties:

• Maintaining the Need-To-Trade table by monitoring when banks are posting rights and front office has sold out of rights positions
• Reviewing and commenting on the MF price break report, and escalating any potential issues to the AS team
• Reaching out to various brokers and obtaining broker quotes for bonds that IDC is not pricing
• Completing 302 letters for AS team to review, sign, and ship to banks
• Creating and updating “When Issued” securities per CNH’s need
• Creating and sending out the Upcoming Corporate Actions email to the PMs
• Any ad hoc responsibilities assigned by AQR.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• With atleast 3-5 years of experience
• Experience in using Bloomberg and/or Reuters platforms is an advantage
• The candidate should have at least a basic understanding of the Capital Markets
• Knowledge of corporate actions in both international and domestic securities (dividends, mergers, etc.)
• Knowledge of various security types and their relevant security attributes
• Comfortable working in rapidly changing, team based work environment
• Possess strong communication and client service skills
• Keen attention to details
• Can work with minimal supervision and deliver high quality output
• With multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented, a team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics.
