Construction Engineer | Cebu-based

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares weekly planner on activities to be undertaken and prepares reports on actual results, outputs and accomplishments based on plans at the end of the week;
• Consolidates accomplishment reports into monthly performance reports.
• Plans, organizes, directs, and monitors/controls multiple construction project sites and oversees their progress in a timely and cost-effective manner;
• Identifies in advance a schedule of information required to meet the construction project and circulate as necessary.
• Develops the construction strategy and coordinates with the other departments for the estimates, budgets and construction timetable for each project site
• Assists in the preparation and production of construction documents as well as communicates and coordinates with other departments and stakeholders;
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to construction project status Interprets and explains contracts and technical information to other relevant project stakeholders;
• Implements and monitors official departmental policies and procedures in selecting, contracting, and overseeing contractors/subcontractors who complete specific pieces of the project.

• A Licensed Civil Engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project/ Construction Management gained from managing horizontal and vertical projects or the real estate industry.
  • At least 6 years of people management experience
  • Should have handled billing, awarding, value engineering.
  • Site Quality Assurance/Audit experience.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized, and goal- oriented.
• Willing to travel and be assigned to work in Cebu.
