Assistant Trade Marketing Manager  

Job Purpose:
This integral marketing role, working on developing internationally renowned spirits and wine brands, requires a results-oriented Assistant Trade Marketing Manager who delivers business priorities through solid planning, project management and execution. Incumbent must be a self-starter who proactively develops effective trade marketing tools while closely working with various stakeholders. Acts as the chief custodian of marketing assets and tools. Responsible for the management and evaluation of suppliers. Incumbent will also provide support for budget management, consumer and trade insight.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Planning: Works with key internal and external stakeholders to develop effective trade marketing tools, visibility, and activation programs that supports business objectives.
• Project Management: Prepares and ensures all elements of the trade marketing plan are executed impactfully, on time, within budget and in accordance to guidelines. Negotiates with and manages the various partners and suppliers in order to be able to deliver the trade marketing plan.
• Collaboration: Works closely with cross functional teams fostering and building strong business relationships. These teams include but are not limited to:
  • Global brand owners
  • Brand Executives
  • Finance
  • Sales
  • Agencies/Suppliers
  • Distributor/Merchandising teams
  • Key customers
• Execution: Proactively oversees the implementation of trade marketing initiatives
• Analysis and Reporting: Acts as the marketing tools and assets custodian while also supporting consumer and trade insights, and budget management. Optimizes trade marketing initiatives based on key learnings. Also leads the management and evaluation of relevant suppliers.

• Marketing or business related degree
• Minimum 3+ years relevant experience in marketing / trade-marketing functions
• Excellent planning, coordination, and presentation skills
• English fluency
• Good command of MS office (especially Excel and Power point)
• Relevant experience in FMCG and; Lifestyle categories an advantage
