Senior Accountant  

JOB & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible in managing day to day accounting and bookkeeping tasks as required.
• Responsible in working with CFO on the preparation of monthly and annual ledger closings activities, reconciliations, and financial package reporting.
• Responsible in dealing with contracts, paperwork, invoices and records from in-house billing and collection team. Reconcile between finance and operation, by collecting and analysing accounts’ information.
• Responsible in providing assistance in regional consolidation and accounting in new countries.
• Responsible in liaising with financial auditors and local tax authorities.
• Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• ​Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Candidate must be CPA
• Candidate must at least have minimum 3 – 5 years hands-on accounting or financial auditing work experience post-graduate.
• Candidate must have a solid accounting knowledge as well as local tax/audit regulation.
• Candidate must be proficient in Excel.
• Experiences with QuickBooks, XERO, MYOB, WAVE or other accounting system preferred.
• Candidate must be proactive in communications and a team player.

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Big 4 background preferred.
• Good knowledge of transportation industry and/or internet company preferred.

JOB PURPOSE:As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Company. You will work closely with various stakeholders in ensuring the completion and accuracy of all financial reporting while being in compliance with the local tax/audit regulatory. Your deliverables to the finance department will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the business.
