Senior Python Developer  

Job Description - Overview:

The Senior Python Developer is responsible to build adequate server-side applications and will contributing to the complete process of software development. You will also develop features to deliver industry leading solutions by working with various stakeholders to determine end-user needs, study system interactions and data flows, designing and building integration APIs, and investigating problem areas by following an Agile software development lifecycle.

Key Job Functions and Duties:

• Provide in-depth engineering support (debugging, performance optimizations, etc.) during the rollout phase to customers
• Perform regular code reviews, with the goal of code quality, good design and approach along with pushing engineers to improve and evolve.
• Optimize existing tech stack and solutions, determine path to next step in the evolution.

Reporting structure:

• The Senior Python Developer will report to the Department Head

General skills:

• Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework
• Experience with Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Bottle);
• Solid experience as Python Developer;
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker, Ansible script, Travis/Jenkins
• Mentor and grow junior developers

Desired Experience & Qualities:

• Working Knowledge of SQL and databases.
• A keen eye for the functioning of the software.
• Inspiring leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Having knowledge in the following is a PLUS: Java, Scala, Kafka, Apache, Nginx, AWS, Alicloud, Microservices, Distributed Computing Concepts
• Good knowledge in HTML5, CSS, Javascript

Qualifications and Accreditations:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field
• 6 years’ experience working as a python developer
