Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Installs broadband and cable television cables and equipment on customer's premise, using electrician's tools and test equipment: Measures television signal strength at utility pole, using electronic test equipment.
- perform on-site installation and repairs, traveling to client residences or commercial locations.
- Computes impedance of wire from pole to house to determine additional resistance needed for reducing signal to the desired level.
- Installs terminal boxes and strings lead-in wires, using electrician's tools.
- Adjusts and repairs cable systems to ensure optimum reception.
- May communicate with COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR, using two-way radio or telephone, to receive instructions or technical advice and to report problems to be repaired by CABLE TELEVISION LINE TECHNICIAN.
- May clean and maintain tools, test equipment, and motor vehicle.
- BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN ELECTRICAL AND INSTALLATION.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- At least high school graduate
- Knowledgable in installation and replacement of cable tv and internet
- Basic knowledge of electrical and installation.
- At least 6mos experience in telecom industry especially in outside plant (osp)
- Knows how to drive
