Tooling Engineer  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Discuss tooling proposal to Tool Maker
• Work closely with Tooling Procurement for RFQ stage.
• Review Tool DFM and provide suggestion improvement if necessary.
• Monitor closely tooling fabrication based on Milestone and highlight if have any possible cause of delay.
• Join mold trial start from T1 to T Final stage until mold transfer to CM site.
• Check and confirm tooling function before tool transfer to CM site.
• Request and provide spare parts for every tool
• Verify and confirm Engineering data, before tool transfer to CM ie; cycle time, machine tonnage, yield data etc
• Review and analys tooling breakdown ie; design issue, Misshandling etc. (TRR report)
• Release weekly report for Tooling breakdown and its improvement plan to eliminate the issues.
• Lead the tooling discussion at TM site.
• Make daily updates for tooling trial status, ISIR approval and Pre-SOP repair cost

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Audit Tool Maker
• Support Current Support for any tool breakdown analysis
• Request database to Tool Maker
• Join mold trial at CM site together with Molding Engineer

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Others), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die?Welding) or equivalent.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for the position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Laguna.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Others or equivalent.
