IT Manager  

The position is primarily responsible for managing the IT department, its infrastructure and all its functions related to developing, implementing and enhancing hardware, software systems and networks that are vital to the Company’s retail business namely, warehousing, merchandising, sales, audit, accounting, and e-commerce.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages the Company’s IT and computer systems to ensure maximum efficiency and adequate support to all Departments at all times;
• Coordinates with department heads to discuss their IT requirements, specifications, costs and monitors its progress and implementation;
• Recommends cost saving measures cross-departmentally that can positively impact the company’s profitability;
• Reviews and makes recommendations to streamline all of the Company’s business processes;
• Controls budgets and expenses of the IT department such as procurement of new hardware and software, and staff overtime;
• Manages the Company’s Point of Sale (POS) network and back office MIS;
• Conducts orientation seminars on the use of existing and new IT systems acquired by the Company;
• Serves as liaison between the Company and IT suppliers, website and system developers; and
• Disciplines and regularly evaluates performance of each IT Department Staff

• Graduate of Computer Science degree or any related course
• With at least 5 years of related work experience preferably in the retail industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of complex information and requirements
• Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
• Retail Pro experience is a must
