Junior Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist  

Growth Rocket is looking to fill an urgent opening for a Junior Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist. As a specialist, you will be part of the company’s SEO strategic team and you will primarily be responsible for collaborating with the team and working with the SEO manager to research link opportunities that align with client requirements. The individual should have excellent communications skills, professional email ethics, experience in social outreach and relationship building. The qualified individual should also be up-to-date with the most recent search engine algorithm updates including (but not limited to) panda and penguin. The tactics and methodologies expected should be within Google's search engine guidelines and strictly white hat.

In short: you will be responsible for conceptualizing link strategies and opportunities alongside the SEO manager and executing the campaign to completion.

Your ancillary tasks include:

• Develop and maintain natural link building strategies and conduct gap analysis
• Link analysis and auditing
• Competitive link research and reverse opportunity engineering
• Prospect list building
• Influencer outreach and relationship building
• Conduct outreach and promotional activities
• Search engine penalty assessment

Our preferred candidate has experience in:

• Natural (white hat) link building techniques
• Prospecting
• Outreach
• Email tools
• Strong Excel and Microsoft applications skills
• Analytics and GWT
• Industry tools such as ahrefs, majestic, semrush etc.
• Infographic distribution
• Content promotion
• Social Media Amplification

Candidate must have 1-2 years of experience in the said position.
