Data Analytics and Special Projects Associate  

Get to know the Role:

• Provide support to GrabExpress PH in formulating strategy and key initiatives to grow in the Philippines thru data analytics. You will deep dive to understand the demand & supply dynamics of on-demand delivery, and provide recommendations to improve key metrics of the organization
• Will require the individual to do analytical and have intuitive skills as the role directly impacts business growth by transferring data into winning real world strategies.
• The Role would also require the person to drive special projects that directly impact business objectives or business operations improvements that will optimize the operations of GrabExpress.

Day-to-day activities:

• Perform analysis & research plans to support decision making process.
• Develop frameworks to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess impact of proposed solutions.
• Manage end-to-end data projects; identifying issues, gathering information from various sources, analyzing data, interpreting patterns, and trends with the purpose of generating insights about the market.
• Provide operational / analytical support to other teams / units under GrabExpress
• Drive Special projects across varying functions & sites w/in GrabExpress PH - from due diligence, project scoping & project implementation
• Be able to work with various teams & stakeholders, cut across functions & departments to achieve project objectives.
• Take on adhoc roles and responsibilities that the company may require of you.

• Must have 2 – 3 years work experience in either a Start-Up Tech Firm, IT organization or top tier management consulting experience or equivalent.

• Have sound business insight and 1 - 2 years functional experience working in anyone of the following: Strategy, Project Management, Marketing, logistics / e-commerce fulfillment environment, Research, & Operations Management

Technical Skills:

• Must have the ability to capitalize on both quantitative & qualitative data inputs, and has experience in data extraction and manipulation.
• Must be good in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
• Some experience in project management and handling adhoc teams an advantage

Others:

• This is a “hands-on” role – need to be willing to roll up sleeves.
• Willingness to learn & ability to adapt is a big plus.
• Coming from a logistics, e-commerce fulfillment team, or on-demand delivery service a definite advantage
