Deskripsi Pekerjaan
The Public Communications Director/Manager will report to the Public Affairs team and work collaboratively with the rest of the Public Relations team to drive communications and relationships with local and international media outlets and governments. This is not a typical PR role. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and publicise the social impact of a high‐growth, social startup operating in a fast‐paced and dynamic global industry.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Articulate and well-spoken with excellent verbal communications and negotiation skills
- Gifted writer with excellent written skills, particularly in the preparation of press releases for companies and presentations for government
- Local language abilities
- 5‐10 years of experience managing local & international government (political campaign media, government ministry communications, etc.), tech startup and local/regional media outlets and in corporate communications
- Existing strong relationships with journalists focused on the tech and startup space
- Experience working directly in government communications and interacting with government stakeholders
- Experience working at a startup, internet or high‐growth company
