Driver Engagement Supervisor - Event Management  

Get to know the Role:

• Develop innovative programs, enhancement, improvement and strategies for driver-partners through collaboration with other departments.
• Instill camaraderie among driver-partners thru various activities.
• Work closely with the team in building and developing strategies to increase engagement and interaction to create passion and growth in the community in all vertical.

The day-to-day activities:

• Planning events/engagement according to requirements, target and objectives from start to finish.
• Coming up with suggestions/plans to enhance the event’s success.
• Ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.
• To oversee and organize events that will make an impact to driver-partners community.
• Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports.
• Decides budget, location, plans the entire event and explain it to the management and gets it approved from them before implementing.
• Once the plan is approved, he/she explains the plan to the event team and other departments.
• Coordinate with Marketing to strategize communication plan using different mediums and how to implement to achieve the event’s objective.
• Plan meetings by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements per project.
• Monitor progress of payment to suppliers.
• Sometimes source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Decides the number of people required for completion of a particular task and distributes work accordingly.
• Meeting with the event management team regularly and gets status reports.
• Makes sure that the tasks assigned are completed as planned.
• Ensures that they meet the deadlines and produce satisfying results.
• Even if the event is successfully planned, event supervisor should be present during the event and handle issues and problems that arise during the events.

• Skilled in project management
• Can plan and create project proposals, develop ideas and execute them
• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• A team player with leadership skills
• Ability to multitask, organize, must be detail oriented and can solve problems that may arise while working under tight deadlines
• Must know how to properly delegate tasks and supervise team during event preparation and on the day of the event
• Can manage his/her time well
• Must have a strong desire to learn from and share knowledge and discoveries with others on the team
• Creative enough to come up with interesting ideas regularly
• Ability to handle stress and work extra hours if necessary
• Photoshop and script writing skills are a plus
