System Reliability Engineer | System Engineer  

As a member of the System Reliability Engineering team, you will build, maintain, deliver and troubleshoot rapidly expanding system and services. You will be part of a talented team that demonstrates superb technical competency, delivering mission critical system and services. Also to ensure highest levels of availability, performance and security of systems.

Responsibilities:

• Works as a technical project team member or independently on assigned projects
• Creates and shares development estimates and operational requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines
• Be able to assess needs using a structured requirement process (gather, analyze, document and manage changes).
• Works closely with Software Development team to ensure all systems are in line with long-term strategy.
• Creates and documents custom test automation for load test.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of test environment for both manual and automated testing.
• Perform script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementation.
• Adheres to standards and procedures, including documentation and complete transfer to other teams (Production Support Team).
• Builds automated deployments using configuration management technology.
• Works with release management to validate deployments and ensure modules and functions are production ready.
• Assist in evaluation of new application technologies tools and perform research on best practices. As well as may provide recommendation for solutions.

Requirements:

• Must possess a college degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/ or equivalent.
• At least 3+ years experience in the IT/System/Computer Science or other related field
• Experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of services, primarily Tomcat, Apache, MySQL, MSSQL, Nginx, etc
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience working in application, systems or IT Operation
• Open source enthusiast especially on IT Operation (configuration management, etc..) and knowledge of an agile team environment
• ust be willing to work in Eastwood, Quezon City
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
