Android Mobile Developer  

• To design, build and maintain reusable, reliable and robust code
• To apply design patterns and architecture suitable for Android development
• To translate wireframes and mockups to high quality code
• To ensure the performance and responsiveness of the application
• To determine parts of the application that will cause bottlenecks and correct them
• To maintain code quality and organization including bug fixing
• To integrate back-end services API
• To integrate 3rd party library/frameworks
• To perform all other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time

• Must be a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree on Computer Science/
• Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, design principles, patterns and best practices
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and system architectures like MVVM and MVC
• Knowledge of different Android versions
• Well-versed in RxJava
• Experience in dealing with different screen sizes of android devices
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for back-end services integration, preferably using Retrofit
• Experience with local persistence, threading and performance tuning
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors such as gyroscopes, GPS and the likes
• Knowledge of NFC technology implementation for android devices
• Ability to translate business requirements and translate them to technical requirements
• Experience in integrating cloud messaging APIs and push notifications
• Ability to identify code that will require or benefit from benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of Android user interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of distributed version control systems such as Git and version control tools like SourceTree
• Basic understanding of application lifecycle including deployment to different environments

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of low level programming such as C++ and C is a plus
