Buyer | Planner (Supply Chain and Purchasing)  

What is the opportunity?

As our Buyer/Planner you will be responsible for assisting all aspects of our end-to-end purchasing and supply chain functions. This may include:

• Getting the best deals out there for HOPE! - this will help us build more classrooms and help more farming communities;
• Directly coordinating with our suppliers and ensuring "Win-Win" situations for both parties;
• Planning in order to make sure all materials and finished goods are received in full, on time at the right price, and at the right specifications;
• Gathering, recording, and analyzing data to help us make better decisions in the future;
• Working with different functions like supply chain, manufacturing, accounting, sales, and external partners on different projects and day-to-day supply chain & procurement activities.

Who are we looking for?

• We are looking for motivated, high-energy and detail-oriented candidates, who have experience and/ or interest in working in a supply chain or procurement or logistics function.
• Candidates with ability to work effectively with people in all levels in an organization
• Candidates should have exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills as well as passion for the HOPE mission.
• Must be open to doing field work (warehouse visits, plant visits, supplier meetings, and supplier audits)
• You should also be excited about the prospect of operating independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
