Product Designer (UI/UX)

We think it is pretty cool that our marketplace hosts a real life economy, where work is undertaken in every area you can think of. From design, writing, data entry and software development; through to sales, marketing, accounting and legal services - even NASA uses us!

We are looking for a talented designer with a solid background in interface design to join the Freelancer team. To:

• Builds great experience through great designs, and making a difference in how users interact with products.
• Comes up with a hypothesis based on user and business needs, wireframe it, prototype it, test it.
• Delivers beautiful interfaces.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in UI Design
• 3-5 years of experience designing digital products
• Know-how in building wireframe, flow, interfaces and experiences
• Design and pursuit for pixel-perfect interfaces
• A passion for delivering amazing experiences to users
• An empathetic mentality towards aligning this user’s needs with business objectives
• Ability to create clean, organised files as you work
• An understanding of style guide driven design
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• An online portfolio showing all of the above

And we would love it if you had:

• Knowledge in development languages like HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Knowledge setting up testing sessions
• Graphic design skills (branding, emails, marketing materials)
