Content Writer | Remote  

We want a new journalist/content writer to join our team & write for our brand financedistrict.co.nz, writing a minimum of 6 well-researched content everyday. Our word count requirement is 650 to 800 words.

We're interested in the quality of content you're able to produce, not quantity.

It's important to be successful in this role you're able to:

• Have an excellent understanding of the English language and proven published content writing for an - English based audience
• Be able to learn the Kiwi (New Zealander) style of story telling
• Be able to research facts/data and use data to prove a point in your content
• Write conversational content structured in a web friendly format (based on topics given by your team leader)
• Follow a set workflow as you develop content within the company
• Be able to take critical feedback from your team leader on how to become a better content writer
• Link to content within financedistrict.co.nz and to third party sources (news websites etc.) on each piece of content you write
• Publish on our Wordpress based CMS
• Work well within a team
• Work we'll unsupervised and be self-motivated

We'll provide all online tools you'll need to be successful.

This is a full time, 40 hours a week position, 9am - 5pm (Manilla time) Monday to Friday.

If you are offered this position, you're expected to only work for Finance District and no other clients.

• At least 3-years of news writing experience or jobs in other related fields
• Knowledgeable on finance and economy

• Must have a high-speed Internet connection at home (at least 5 MBPS)
