Bookkeepers - Australian Firm  

Our Australian eCommerce & Digital Agencies are always seeking experienced Bookkeepers.

Overall, your role will be to:

• Maintain the integrity of accounting systems and related business systems
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial and management reporting
• Assist with various accounting processes on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll including employee setup, fortnightly and monthly pay runs, superannuation, payroll tax reporting
• Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the management team
• Assist with preparing annual budgets and EOM reporting
• Investigating errors in business systems, financial reports and correcting faulty reporting methods
• Documenting finance and business processes
• IAS, BAS and payroll tax preparation and lodgement
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Setting up and/or moving clients to Xero
• WorkCover – set up, reporting and lodging
• Journal processing
• Assist with budgets
• Ad-hoc general administration duties

In order to be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

• Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role for an Australian business
• Knowledge of other bookkeeping software packages will be highly beneficial.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills
• Accurate data entry and high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
• A strong focus on client services and desire to go above-and-beyond
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
