Engineering Technical Assistant - PDDC  

Job Summary:

• Assist in supervising and managing the O&M of the DCS, subcontracted to ENGIE Services (Philippines) and implement and follow up strong operation procedures to sustain KPIs, Customer Satisfaction, Environment and H&S objectives within the Ethic Charters of ENGIE and FILINVEST
• Assist in Business Development activities of PDDC for future DCS or Air-conditioning (AC) System Projects nationwide on technical and O&M aspects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plant Operation
  • Monitor trouble call attendance of all equipment
  • Monitor the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment
  • Prepare maintenance logs and records of equipment, purchase request, and work completion report.
  • Coordinate with Engie O&M regarding major repair of equipment and conduct joint inspection and testing prior to acceptance of work
  • Proactively suggest improvement plans for better support and qualit performance
  • Generate technical reports of issues that needs to be presented to the management and customer
  • Review scope of work based on the field of service report recommendations
  • Assist in evaluating and analyzing preventive maintenance report to in-house technicians and Engie O&M and recommends necessary repair to avoid unscheduled breakdown equipment
  • Monitor all repair and troubleshooting carried out by Engie O&M
  • Prepare necessary correspondence, technical reports, contrac documents, fact sheets, and status reports and prepares as built drawings suitable for permit applications and regulatory compliance
  • Assist in maintaining energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating cost at a minimum and committed KPI's are met
• Business Development
  • Assist Business Development in terms of technical and O&M inputs
  • Assist in project administration team in other project related activities such as but not limited to, coordination with project proponents, construction site administrators, etc.

POSITION QUALIFICATION:

• Graduate of bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• Must be a licensed Engineer
• Familiar with the plant operations and maintenance practices
• Familiar on building chillers, generators, pumps, cooling towers and HVAC system
• Can interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams/drawings
• Knowledgeable in Mechanical/HVAC design
• At least 2 - 3 years of working experience in the related field is required
