Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- To establish positive media relations and strengthen media exposure of Edukasyon.ph and its advocacy, projects, and milestones
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Internal
- Contributes to creation of media relations plan that meets business objectives
- Writes press releases, social media content and other media materials
- Builds and maintains media database across channels and beats
- Secures pick-ups, interviews, and features
- Utilizes appropriate media monitoring tools
- Sets team processes and manages workload
- Hiring, onboarding, and retention
- Training and performance management
- External
- Pitches story angles and partnership packages to key media outfits and personalities
- Maintains strong media relations and constantly establishes new ones
- Represents Edukasyon.ph in events, features, or interviews as needed
- Organizes media events and press launches
Kualifikasi Minimum
Key Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience in a related field or role
- Has excellent written and oral communication skills, both English and Filipino
- Has strong organizational, scheduling, and time/project management skills
- Proven background and network from quad media (print, online, TV, and radio)
- Passionate about education
- Leads by example, detail-oriented, fast learner, and has a strong sense of responsibility
- Background in public relations, corporate communications, media or agency is a plus
Organizational Setup:
- Works primarily with the Media Relations Associate
- Directly reports to the Head of Public Affairs
