Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Support the growth of the engineering team by actively participating in code reviews, training, and mentoring
- Collaborate with people across the engineering and product management teams to deliver and launch projects
- Collaborate with department heads, marketing, productions, and operations as advisor of all technologies involved with the company
- Interview applicants that could be possible addition to the Engineering team
- Document product lineup for the incoming cycle/sprint
- Outline product priorities
- Design modular system architecture to support next phase of growth
- Document tech strategy to achieve product roadmap goals over next year
- Prioritize development efforts
- Ensure teams are positioned for success
- Ensure proper coordination with Product team
- Design and apply Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Software and System Engineering
- Sync up daily with the CTO
- Ensure sprint progress is going well
- Resolve any technical issues
- Provide guidance and direction for continued growth
- Establish and ensure code quality guidelines throughout Engineering team
- Maintain, secure and improve server infrastructure
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field (MS or Ph.D. preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience
- Minimum of 2 years working as a senior software engineering management position such as CTO, Head of Development, or VP of Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years in a hands-on development role in server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, PHP, and client-side languages such as Java, Objective-C, or Swift.
- Led a team of software engineers within the last 2 years where you were responsible for goal setting, performance measurement, and hiring/ firing decisions (direct reporting lines)
- Proven experience in building high-performance teams and scalable best-practices in a startup company
- Proven experience in DevOps (e.g. establishing staging & production environment, continuous integration, test automation, AWS/cloud environment management)
- Proven ability to use metrics as a key driver in your decision-making processes
- Proven and recent experience of designing Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Software and System Engineering is preferred
- An advanced level of English
