Medical Review Specialist  

The Medical Review Specialist is an allied/health care professional. Their tasks are:

1. They listen to voice recordings of medical doctors/physicians and convert them into written reports,
2. They also encode and edit medical records through speech recognition technology.
3. They will also interpret diagnostic results, referral letters, laboratory results, doctors' orders and other hospital documents.
4. They also interpret medical terminologies and abbreviations in a patient's medical history, discharge summaries and other patient documents.

The candidate should have the following:

• Should be a Registered Nurse or a Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Must have 2-4 years of hospital duties/experience.
• Exceptional skill in written and verbal English.
• Strong attention detail.
• 2 years experience of patient care or BPO customer service.
• Thorough knowledge of medical terms.
• ICU with ICD 9 or ICD 10 experience is a plus.
