Back-end Web Developer  

The Back-end Web Developer is responsible for building and maintaining the back-end or server-side of a web application which includes the server, application and database.

The primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Integration of components developed by the Front-end developer to server side functionalities
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Work with a dynamic team consists of a Front-end developer, graphic designer and digital marketer
• Design and develop applications designed for the organization’s needs
• Create progressive web applications in PHP and Javascript
• Development of server-side scripts to support Business Critical Systems
• Manage, develop and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Application
• Action other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by Management to achieve business goals

Critical competencies

• Advance knowledge in Responsive design HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL & CMS (such as WordPress)
• Advanced knowledge in SQL Server, MySQL and Salesforce;
• Knowledgeable in process automations
• Knowledgeable in Agile and Scrum Methodology
• Excellent debugging skills
• Advance knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, XD, etc
• Advance knowledge of server-side logic
• Information architecture or UX design experience
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Experience working in a marketing environment (Financial Services is a plus)
• Data migration, manipulation, transformation and back-ups
• Outputting data in different formats
