Wordpress Designer/Developer  

What We’re Looking For

Coins is looking for a talented Wordpress creator that can serve as both a Designer and Developer. This is a unique opportunity to join the team onsite from our Manila office and work across Design, Product, Marketing, and other teams to drive core growth objectives.

The ideal candidate would have a strong design aesthetic, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for the work our team is doing. Our team will be most excited by candidates that can provide examples of prior work and an articulation of how those past projects met business objectives. This role is based in Metro Manila here in the Philippines!

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with Product and Marketing teams to launch experiential content, landing pages, and other web pages to drive user growth
• Collaborate directly with Project leaders and quickly iterate with relevant designs
• Create Wordpress templates and business processes that allow the rest of the team to automate the content creation process more efficiently

Minimum Background & Application

• Strong expertise in Wordpress and a track record of using Wordpress professionally for employers and/or clients
• Shareable design portfolio (Behance, Dribbble, personal site) with prior WordPress projects you’ve worked on (Application will not be reviewed with Portfolio work to assess)
• Strong communication skills to articulate and elaborate on design decisions
• Based in, or willing to relocate to Metro Manila (Philippines)

How To Stand Out

• Recommendations/references from prior colleagues or clients that can speak to both the quality of your output and the efficacy of your working process
• Strong knowledge of the ecosystem of WordPress plugins and the ability to supplement work with existing plugins instead of rolling our own
• Strong understanding of content optimization and how posts and pages can best be optimized for search (SEO) and social platforms
• Experience designing content-heavy websites and ensuring consistency across browsers and devices
• Basic understanding of Front-End development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
