Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Prepare client’s financial statements, tax returns and Goods and Services Tax (GST)
- Prepare information requirements base on prior period and checklist
- Classify and enter transactions to GL accounts in accounting system from client software/documentation
- Prepare account reconciliations as per pre-defined checklist for client
- Identify exceptions and prepare queries to clients
- Prepare and enter adjusting journal entries
- Compile final financial statements and draft accompanying advisory letter
- File all documentations electronically according to company procedures
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks
- Monitor jobs and deadlines across team and ensure system is updated to allow visibility of progress to team leader
- Report to team leader on foreseeable disruptions to work flow e.g. staff capacity, information requirements, critical job stoppages
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including advanced formula calculations
- Must be attentive to details and an ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Ability to prioritize and work autonomously to firm deadlines
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience working for a New Zealand and Australia accounting firm is an advantage
- Experience in using Xero accounting software is a plus
