Video Editor  

Video and Animated Content

• Responsible for developing a range of highquality corporate video and 2D animated content, including promotional, training and educational pieces.
• Creating animated 2D infographics, logos and other content.
• Applying specially animated effects to content, e.g. lighting, morphing.
• Applying music, voice and other sound effects to video and animations.
• Producing/exporting video for a variety of ‘finaluse’ cases/mediums.
• Working closely with other TEAM members to manage the storyboarding and briefing process.

Marketing Support

• Support the Marketing Coordinator(s) to achieve the goals, strategies and outcomes relative to the Client’s marketing plan, brand and creative strategy.
• Work closely with other internal staff (web developers, graphicdesigners, animators, etc) as required to achieve all TEAM objectives.
• Ensure proper written implementation and adherence to Client brand guidelines at all times.

General

• Present to work in a fit manner, including adhering to drug and alcohol, and fatigue policies.
• Behave in a manner that protects the safety of yourself, fellow workers, and visitors.
• Comply with all reasonable written and verbal instructions from direct supervisors (Marketing Coordinator) and senior management.
• Look after all company equipment and check for defects prior to use.

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role, in a similar organisation.
• Experience compiling, editing, proofing and publishing a variety of corporate livevideo and animated content, including promotional content, training and educational.
• Experience animating 2D infographics, logos and other content.
• Experience applying special animated effects to content, e.g. lighting, morphing.
• Experience applying music, voice and other sound effects to video and animations.
• B2B industry experience (preferably in miningresources, heavy industry and/or engineering). Experience adhering to style guides/brand manuals.
• Experience working in a handson and varied videographer/animator role.
• Degree or similar qualification in VideoProduction / Multimedia Design.
• Advanced skills in Adobe PremierPro and After-Effects.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong knowledge of optimum video output requirements for a variety of usecases.
• A keen eye and appreciation for visual communications high-quality, high-impact design
