Android Developer  

As an Android software Developer/Engineer, you will continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Working closely with the rest of our innovative team, you will define, build, and ship new features to create and continually maintain a user-friendly app that will go through many development phases.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write bullet proof and expressive code for Android platform.
  • Maintain and update existing code.
• Architect, build, and manage our mobile application.
• Work closely with our design team and Project Manager to produce an application that flows seamlessly and works intuitively with our users.
• Influence every aspect of the Android development process from API creation to design.

• At least 2 years of experience in developing on a mobile android platform.
• Experienced releasing and working on at least one chat related application in the Google Play Store.
• Demonstrated skills in writing high-quality, readable, well-architected, and efficient code.
• Fluency with android-related programming languages.
• Strong experience with Git version control system.
• Available sample code on github or bitbucket.
• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology.
• Bilingual in Filipino and English is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with SIP/WebRTC technology or mobile messaging app kind development (video chat solutions) (optional).
• Experience with server side development, server side framework, and database system (optional).
